The Official Air Force Memorandum is the most common format used for written communications in the Air Force. It is used for many purposes, ranging from documentation of internal wing guidelines to conducting formal business with DoD agencies. It is also used to manage business with suppliers and contractors. Use the printed header, computer-generated header or a simple bondage paper. It is the author who decides the appropriate letter paper. Enter or print them on both sides of the black or blue-black ink paper. Use 10 to 12 text fonts.
