I come from a very musical family, and hence it has become a big portion of my life. My father has his master's degree in music specializing in organ performance and my grandmother was a professional opera singer. My mom lacks in musical talent, but listens to oldies, which in stark contrast to father's affinity for the classics allowed me to obtain a wider perspective in the world of music.
I started listening to music from the very beginning as my father played Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns upon my arrival home from the hospital at birth. Since that time I have forever been known as "the organist's son." My father has had a passion for the pipe organ ever since he was a little boy. One of his life goal's was to have a home pipe organ, and he has achieved that and so much more. My father's influence has been great on me, so much so that I minored in music at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
With all this musical background, I play the piano, clarinet, sing, and even compose a little.
