Excerpts from Mike's Letter Home:

06/23/2003

Dear Family,

Things are still going pretty well out here. The weather is starting to turn warm. I am not enjoying this weather change. However, everyone is saying that it is still pretty mild for this time of year. Hopefully, I will at least lose some weight this summer. That is at least one of the pluses to the summer here.

This coming week I will be giving a talk in Sacrament meeting. So, I will have to move around during the meeting between the piano and podium. Hopefully, all things go well.

It was very interesting writing my letter to the mission president this week. It is just hard to believe that it is the last letter I will be writing to President Peterson. I really hope that this transition of leadership goes smoothly. Hopefully there will be some nice changes as well.

It is amazing to hear that the Mighty Ducks did really well. I am not the happiest that once I leave all of the local teams are doing really well. Why am I missing out on all the miraculous things in sports? Oh well.

Hopefully dad really enjoyed his trip to Utah. That should have been pretty enjoyable. Someday I will have to go with dad to something like that (organist convention). How is the pipe organ at home coming along?

If I sent a cassette or two home, would it be possible to transfer them to CD (maybe with dad's organ recorder)?

I don't know what to tell you about the website, because that is the most generic of error messages. Just remember that you can manually upload a few pages using the Netadmin. Front page special features won't work on those pages though and you might have to change some of the links manually. Hopefully, Prohosting will respond.

Any ways, I have got to rush this letter to the post office. Hopefully, Gram is doing better. Take care!

I love and miss you all so much!

Love,
Elder Mike Robinson
